I’ve waited nearly a year to try this place. I live about an hour away and was nearby so decided to finally give it a try. Got two appetizers, an entree, and a personal pitcher for about 60$. My boyfriend wasn’t super impressed with his burger… he ordered the jalapeño popper burger.. it had more cream cheese than he would prefer but he was able to get through it for the most part. The cheese curds were phenomenal . The most authentic he’s had since moving here from the Midwest. My pretzel was amazing, although the beer cheese lacked, especially for the price. As a service worker/ bartender I felt the service was also not the best. I usually excuse a lot of small stuff others don’t overlook but not being told any drink special, or even being given a cocktail menu it was hard to know what to order and it took about 30 minutes to even get a cocktail because of the lack of checking in by the employee caring for us . The drink I did order was phenomenal the bartender knew how to make a drink, however I feel less conversation with the other worker and more interaction with the guests would’ve been favorable. Food 7/10 drinks 9/10 service 5/10 not rude but the interaction gave the vibe the bartender didn’t enjoy their job very much .
They were busy on the Thursday evening we visited, so we had longer wait times for everything. The portions are generous, but the meat on the Prime Rib Dip sandwich was tough and way over cooked. We loved the Couliflower Wings with the Asian Habinero sauce - generous portions!
My sister has been following The Office Tavern's Instagram account for a hot-minute. She requested once I returned into town that this would be our first stop. I was "in town" for a friend's Celebration of Life, therefore she picked me up at the airport, and off we go ...
We posted up at The Office! It's choose your own adventure [pick your seat] My initial thought was this joint was too bougie for the Skagit Valley. The bar was lengthy, plenty of TVs, and the floor tables were spaced out such that it didn't remind me of cookie-cutter-zero-foot-property-lines-houses.
We arrived late on Friday night. I had already previewed the drink menu, so I had an eye on the No Money, No Honey. The place was busy as expected on a Friday night, yet our server arrived immediately. My sister ordered a personal pitcher, and I didn't waiver on my drink.
We LOVED our drinks - so tasty. Although, No Money, No Honey is sweet, so buyer beware.
The food special was Loaded Taco Fries - those were necessary. I had a ravenous appetite after flying Frontier Airlines. I ordered the Teriyaki Bowl because finding a gem of Asian food in Phoenix is a lost cause.
THAT 'YAKI BOWL HAS NO PEER! Bar none the best I have had in a hot-second.
The Office Tavern was established in 2020. If you haven't been by now, get in your car NOW. Motor down here for good food, great drinks, and friendly service.

The fourth best part of this place is that when you say you are at the office, you are not lying.
Obsessed with the trifecta of @theofficetavernburlington
Service: Killer. The team from the bar to the floor is happy, friendly and make you feel good about your POUR decisions.
Ambiance: The bar is lengthy and has TV’s for sports. The floor tables are spaced apart so you can enjoy your food without neighbors. TV’s for sports or what not. Outside patio is PERFECT for all.
Food: Look, the food is great, it is really, really great. Those onion rings were fluffy and not greasy. I should have shared them with Mr. Coins but I didn’t and whatever, 50/50 doesn’t apply to food.
The street corn dip is a must, the kind of dip you lick the bowl when you assume no one is looking. The wings were BOMB.
This is the place you have been looking for in Skagit Valley and if you haven’t, now you will.
This place never disappoints! Food is always on point, service is perfect. Definitely a good spot.
Good bar for Burlington. Plenty of seating, staff was good they kept our drinks full and the kitchen staff is fast on turn around. Getting your food out. Pretzel was a little cold. But I'll still give them a good grade. You can do much worse than going here.
Decided to grab a quick bite, late at night, we found The Office Tavern. Staten and a little bright, which seems to be the norm in modern spots where people gather for drink and conversation. We ordered some food, a SW chicken salad, and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. They came fairly quick in very large portions. The salad was OK, veggies seemed fresh, and topped with pre-made chicken tenders. The sandwich came loaded with meat. The bread was soaked, so it became a knife and fork meal. I discovered the meat was mixed with melted "cheese." I'm pretty sure it wasn't real cheese. Anyway, for me. It wasn't good. The saving grace was the service. The bartender was great. The wait staff was great. The clientele young. Looks like a nice neighborhood place to hang.
FIVE SOLID STARS! Ryan our bartender was simply terrific! The food was spectacular, from the French Dip to the Shrimp Tacos, we couldn’t have asked for more. And the fries!!! Oh the fries, perfection! It’s already on our revisit list !!!
